Hello

I’m Keely

I specialize in family, newborn, and senior photography, with a deep love for capturing children in their most natural, candid moments. There is something truly magical about documenting the connection and love between couples and the sacred bond of motherhood. My goal is to preserve raw, heartfelt interactions that tell your unique story, while also creating timeless, beautifully posed images you will cherish.

As a full-time mom to a three-year-old, I know how important it is to cherish every stage of family life, from the newborn snuggles to the busy toddler years and beyond. I strive to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience during every session.

Photography for me is more than just pictures; it is a calling. I believe God has given me this gift to serve others by capturing the moments that matter most. Outside of photography, I focus on living a holistic lifestyle through staying active, eating healthy, and prioritizing the care of our bodies. I also love spending time with family, going on playdates with friends, and enjoying the simple blessings of daily life.

If you are looking for a blend of candid moments and stunning portraits, let’s work together to create memories you will treasure for a lifetime.

MY STORY

Preserving precious memories, inspired by my brother’s legacy.

My passion for photography began when I was just a freshman in high school. One day, my dad surprised me with a Nikon camera, and from that moment on, I was hooked. At the time, my younger brother, Dalton, was an incredible baseball player, and I made it my mission to capture every swing, every catch, and every proud moment on the field.

Dalton tragically passed away at just 13 years old in an ATV accident. His loss shattered our family, but the photos I had taken of him became our most treasured keepsakes. Those pictures of him in action, grinning on the field, or laughing with his friends are irreplaceable. They allow us to relive his time here with us, keeping his memory alive in each frame. The moments themselves may be gone, but the photos live on.

As I reflect now, I truly realize how invaluable those pictures are. I don’t know what we would do without them. My love for photography is what gifted our family so many cherished memories of Dalton. I brought my camera everywhere—on vacations, beach trips, and mountain adventures. Because of that, we now have high-quality images that tell the story of our travels together, memories we hold dear to this day.

After Dalton’s passing, it took some time before I could pick up my camera again. But when my little sister was born two years later, along with my niece and nephew, they became the new focus of my lens. I constantly practiced on those three, capturing every milestone, every toothless grin, from their newborn days to now.

Now, as a mother myself, I’ve come to realize that you can never take too many photos of your children. They grow up so quickly, and I want to remember every phase: every freckle, every missing tooth, every new haircut. That’s why I’m so passionate about offering this gift to others. I know firsthand how priceless these moments are, and it brings me joy to help others preserve the memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

I’m forever grateful for the foundation Dalton gave me in photography. He’s the reason I’m so passionate about capturing life’s fleeting moments, and it’s why I started Keely Chéri Photography—a name that honors both my grandma and my middle name, "Chéri" (pronounced Shuh-Ree). Through my work, I hope to help others hold onto the memories with their loved ones, just as I have.
